High School Rocket Project
A student engineering project focused on the design, construction, and testing of a model rocket.
Project Overview
This project involved designing and building a model rocket as part of a high school engineering project. The work combined mechanical design, fabrication, component selection, and testing to produce a functional launch vehicle.
Design Goals

Design Process
The rocket was developed through a series of design decisions involving overall geometry, fin placement, component packaging, material selection, and manufacturability.
CAD models and drawings were used to define the geometry before fabrication. The design was adjusted as needed based on fit, assembly, and practical manufacturing constraints.
Manufacturing and Assembly
Components were fabricated and assembled into the final rocket structure. Particular attention was given to alignment, fit between components, and maintaining a lightweight build.
